About
The feed
you play.
Every feed you know is something you watch. Swapp is a feed where everything plays — games, decks of quizzes and flashcards, books with a real reader, challenges, live data. Each one is a card: a small piece of software that runs right where it sits — hundreds are live. Nothing to install. Swapp is invite-first while we grow: sign in at the door, and once inside, every card plays the second it loads. A shared card link plays instantly for anyone — no account needed.
The difference is underneath. Every interaction — every turn of a page, every round of a game, every answer in a deck — lands in a behavioral ledger. The feed learns what you can do and serves what you're ready for; your progress is a fact you can look at, not a feeling.
How it works
Play instantly
Once you're in, the first card is already live. Games, decks, books, challenges — one swipe each. Nothing to download, and inside the feed nothing stands between you and the first round.
It learns you honestly
Games report what you did and what it measures — reaction time, working memory. Reading reports per-page progress; quizzes report per-answer. Difficulty comes from how everyone actually performed, not a designer's guess, and the feed personalizes from your own history. Progress and rank are real computed numbers.
Tickets & unlocks
Playing earns tickets — computed on the server and rate-limited, so they mean something. Spend them on unlocks like themes and cosmetics. Tickets are virtual only; there is no cash-out and nothing to buy your way past.
Make it yours
One tap re-skins the entire surface — 19 themes, every card included. Dark is pure monochrome: black canvas, white text, nothing else.
Guests are first-class
You never have to sign up. Arrive and you get a device identity — enough to play everything, earn tickets, and build a real history. If you do make an account, your guest history merges into it. Nothing you did before signing up is lost.
Every card also has a link — swapp.eco/c/?id=... — that unfurls with the card's name, so sharing a card is sharing the card, not a storefront.
Built on Empress
Underneath the feed is Empress, the data layer for behavior — think of it the way payments run on Stripe. Every interaction becomes an xAPI statement there: not "you opened the app," but what you actually did, at the resolution it happened. Swapp is the first expression of that protocol layer — the same substrate builders integrate is the one this feed runs on, in production, right now.
